La Nave is an urban innovation space dependent on the Madrid City Council. A Madrid-based business accelerator that serves as a meeting point for pioneering and vibrant companies. And this innovative ecosystem has selected the Andrea project, our mobile app designed and created to help combat bullying, to be part of this space for urban and social innovation.
Together with Cristina Duque, our mentor, and in the company of 34 more startups, we will develop our project in Madrid over the next few months. From individual and group sessions, mentoring, networking, design thinking, workshops and acceleration activities, we will work to reach the largest possible number of educational centers and to prevent more cases of bullying throughout Spain. A project that not only encourages startups formatively, but also allows access to an ecosystem of synergies between companies, institutions and people both nationally and internationally.
An extraordinary opportunity to access new opportunities, be in touch with the latest technological trends, accelerate the project and exploit the potential and possibilities of Andrea App, a project in which we have poured our experience, our effort and our enthusiasm, and that never ceases to give us joy.
Already in June, this application obtained the honorary award Laus Aporta, in addition to two additional awards at the ADG Laus Award in Barcelona, the most important recognitions in the design sector in Spain and organized by the Association of Graphic Designers and Art Directors of the FAD (ADG-FAD). Specifically, a Silver award in the Corporate Identity – Naming category and a bronze in Digital – Mobile Applications.
Andrea has been conceived and designed as a digital tool so that the users of the application, who are the students of the school center, can create anonymous alerts that will be answered through the chat.
The school center, on the other hand, visualizes the data that arrives through the Andrea App and has an administration panel so that those in charge of managing the tool can attend to all requests. These alerts allow students to report cases of bullying that they are suffering or that has been detected by a classmate.
