Design, innovation and technology have served as the axis of the recent València Startup Market. This axis is also the basis of our study and of our Andrea project, an app anti-bullying, which we have presented within the framework of this event in the Town Hall Square of València. Solutions against bullying like this help to improve school life in educational centers throughout Spain.
The Town Hall Square of València has brought together a selection of 50 Valencian startups, representative of the hotbed of ideas, the entrepreneurial impulse and the talent that the city is, allowing to bring innovation and technology closer to the citizens, and giving us the opportunity to show all the possibilities of Andrea.
For a whole day, we had our own stand in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento where we were able to bring visitors closer to the concept, design and operating mode of this digital tool, which allows students to report anonymously, directly and safe, any possible situation of bullying or ciberbullying, whether they are victims or bystanders.
In addition, we participated in the talk “Design and creative technologies to improve society”, organized by the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community (ADCV) together with the animation series “Nina de l’espai” by Angelgráfico and the Unit Experimental initiative by Melani Lleonart and Álvaro Sanchís, which allows museums, exhibitions and cultural events to be brought closer to the public through creative technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality.
In our case, we talk about Andrea App as a tool to offer solutions against bullying and about how to prevent bullying through the app, detecting conflicts early, in order to prevent and act before reaching more serious situations.
During the València Startup Market the inauguration of the València Startup Week was also held, a week in which innovation and entrepreneurship will be the protagonists through various talks, events and presentations.
It has been a pleasure to be able to get in touch with so many people and show them the potential that a well conceived and well designed digital tool like Andrea has to tackle a problem as serious as bullying or cyberbullying. Because, when design and technology join forces, are capable of improving the lives of many people.
